Using RCM’s breakthrough technology, this new release adds a “pulsating” component to the ultra-high relief (UHR) design that creates an astonishing effect that must be seen to be believed! Yes, the coin actually appears to be moving! The extraordinary “pulsating” technology allows hundreds of micro-engineered, precision-engraved, sub-millimeter-scale surfaces to be struck into the fields of these coins. When combined with the polished dies and intense pressure needed to produce a UHR coin, these hundreds of surfaces turn into tiny mirrors reflecting light in all directions. It’s a gorgeous, visually breathtaking effect when simply viewed straight on, but the coin “comes to life” when it is rotated.
